TVAddons, top notch library for unofficial Kodi addons, it mysteriously disappeared. The site's domains don't seem to be responding and the DNS records don't seem to exist. It's unclear why and how this all happened, but given the lawsuit the agency received last week, some fear the worst.
Last week we passed the news that the TVAddons library is subject to prosecution by a federal court of Texas.
Since then, Kodi's pirate community has been in turmoil. Pretty popular Kodi addons have decided to close, and now TVAddons itself seems to be in trouble.
TVAddons is one of the largest repositories of Kodi add-ons, many of which allow users to watch pirated content. The website had grown massively in recent years reporting 40 million unique visitors in March alone.
As of yesterday, however, these millions of users can no longer have access στον ιστότοπο. Χωρίς προειδοποίηση ή κάποια δημόσια εξήγηση, το domain name TVAddοns σταμάτησε να ανταποκρίνεται. Οι καταχωρίσεις DNS φαίνεται ότι έχουν καταργηθεί, πράγμα που σημαίνει ότι το name and the page is no longer accessible to the public.
Just a few hours ago TVAddons on Facebook disappeared completely.
TVAddons listed 1.500 different add-ons, including the addon of Exodus maintained by the community and was one of the most popular.
It may be too early to draw conclusions about the future of Kodi addons as we know them, but everything shows that things have become very difficult for the communities that support them. Of course no one can make predictions because our torrent community has proven that although many do not want it to work, it still exists…
Update: Exodus seems to be working at the moment, although many of its distribution sources streaming do not appear to appear.
