A new era has begun for OTE, as Cosmote Telekom is renamed Telekom. Cosmote connected Greece to the digital age and Telekom will connect it to the future and Artificial Intelligence, as stated by Costas Nembis, President and CEO of OTE.
The transition to the Telekom brand is a natural evolution for OTE and the next step in a path that began in April 2025, when Telekom was placed next to the COSMOTE name.
All products, services and stores will be renamed, and the transition will culminate on September 8, with the launch of the communication campaign. The green and blue colors will give way to magenta.
What the German multinational will bring in terms of technology, synergies and services remains to be seen. Let's hope it will leave German prices behind.

The display on mobile phone screens changes to TELEKOM.GR, COSMOTE 5G becomes Telekom 5G and COSMOTE Fiber is renamed Telekom Fiber.
WHAT'S UP takes the form of WHAT'S UP by Telekom while the COSMOTE TV platform adopts the name MagentaTV internationally.
The official website is transferred to telekom.gr (based on relevant COSMOTE updates), the application is renamed Telekom App and the social media becomes Telekom GR, adopting the characteristic magenta color.
All COSMOTE stores will change signage and be renamed Telekom.
