The new Kyocera phone will be washed with soap and water

Kyocera Corporation has announced the release of the new Rafre smartphone that can be washed with soap and water.

Kyocera

Curved screens and AR cameras are nice, but here we're talking about a completely fancy but also useful feature of a telephone. Sparkle with cleanliness but also work when you shower.

The Rafre model is actually the second waterproof phone in soap and water by Kyocera, καθώς το πρώτο με αυτές τις ιδιότητες είχε παρουσιαστεί προς το τέλος του 2015. Αυτή τη φορά όμως, η συσκευή έχει σαν μπόνους και προστιθέμενη αντίσταση στο άφρισμα κοινών σαπουνιών , so you can take it into the shower with you if you like it to be as clean as you are.

According to the manufacturer the new rafre is resistant to hot water and its touchscreen will be usable even when the user's hands are wet or wearing gloves. Additionally, the new device will be equipped with a dedicated cooking app that will allow users to browse recipes, set timers and respond to through gestures, without having to touch the screen. This will allow the use of the smartphone while the users' hands may be dirty with cooking materials.

For now the device will be available from March 2017 only in Japan and will be offered in three : pale pink, white and light blue. Its price has not yet been determined.

It is expected of being Android Nougat, having a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 3,000mAh battery.
