The new Kyocera phone will be washed with soap and water

Kyocera Corporation has announced the launch of the new Rafre which can be washed with soap and water.

Kyocera

Nice curved screens and AR cameras but here we are talking about a totally fancy but also useful property of a mobile phone. It shines from cleanliness but also works when you shower.

The Rafre model is actually the second waterproof phone in soap and water by Kyocera, as the first one with these attributes was introduced towards the end of 2015. This time, however, the Android device has a bonus and added resistance to the fading of common body soaps so you can take it with you if you like it as clean as you.

According to the manufacturer the new rafre features resistance to νερό και η οθόνη αφής του θα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ακόμα και όταν τα χέρια του χρήστη είναι βρεγμένα ή αν φοράει γάντια. Επιπλέον, η νέα συσκευή θα είναι εξοπλισμένη με μία ειδική εφαρμογή μαγειρέματος που θα επιτρέπει στους χρήστες να σερφάρουν μέσα στις συνταγές, να θέτουν σε timers and answer calls through gestures, without having to touch the screen. This will allow the use of the smartphone while the users' hands may be dirty with cooking materials.

Currently, the device will be available from March 2017 only in Japan and will be available in three colors: pale pink, white and light blue. Its price has not yet been determined.

It is expected that its operating system will be Android Nougat, it will have a back 13-megapixel and a 3,000mAh battery.
