If you are using LastPass Free, the free version of LastPass password management and synchronization service, then you may need to find another one, or pay for LastPass LogMeIn to continue using it.
LastPass has announced that it will be making changes to its free service on March 16, 2021. From that day forward, LastPass Free users will only be able to use one type of device to access their codeaccess and use the synchronization function.
The company distinguishes between two types of devices (computers and mobiles) and starting from that day, free users will be able to use only one type of device.
The change will not affect LastPass Free users who only use the service on their computers, e.g. a laptop, desktop, some program extension tours or only on mobile devices, basically anything that runs on Android or iOS.
However, users who use the service on mobile and desktop systems can no longer do so unless they purchase a premium subscription.
LastPass states that users will have to set the device type by March 16, 2021. Customers will have three opportunities to change the active device type according to a post on the company blog before the selection becomes permanent.
For those who are interested, you can try the safe application Kee Pass.
It's free and saves them passwords locally and not in the cloud.
