Η Lenovo and Juniper Networks, a leader in network innovation, announced the launch of a global strategic partnership to build synergies in the product and technology portfolio to create a new generation of converged, hyper-converged and hyper-scale solutions for enterprise data centers as well as for web-based customers.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating simplified, flexible, high-efficiency solutions that will provide customers with faster access to applications with reduced costs modes.
With an extensive portfolio of x86 core servers and switches, Lenovo is at the forefront of the Converged and Software Defined offering movement. Juniper is the market leader in network innovation with a portfolio that includes routers, switches, networks management software, προϊόντα network security and software-defined networking technology. - Bearing in mind the needs of customers for fast resource delivery and easy management, the two companies are expected to work together to offer simplified management and orchestration to the data center by leveraging Lenovo's xClarity software, as well as Network Director and Contrail SDN software of the Juniper.
- In addition, the two companies plan to collaborate on global sales strategies targeting enterprise customers, service providers, channel partners as well as system integrators.
- Lenovo and Juniper aim to develop common go-to-market designs and a personalized reseller model to meet the unique requirements of the local market in China.
