The first Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Tango smartphone is available for the European market. The device was first released in the United States last month, but apparently Lenovo has decided to sell its rather unusual smartphone in some European countries as well.
At the moment, Phab 2 Pro is available in Lenovo's online stores in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. The new device costs 499 euros.
The smartphone is currently available only on Champagne Gold (Gunmetal Gray will come soon) and will not be available in countries other than those mentioned above. So, for anyone interested in acquiring the device, you will need to order the smartphone from any of Lenovo's online stores from the above countries. (links at the end of publication)
In addition to the usual charger and USB cable, Lenovo also added JBL headphones inside the sales package.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is definitely not for everyone. The smartphone has a huge 6,4 inch screen that supports Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
The Phab 2 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (Tango edition) octa-core processor timed at 1.8GHz, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, which can be extended to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is equipped with four cameras that work together with Tango and a specially developed software that allows state-of-the-art AR experiences on the smartphone.
In addition, the rear cameras are 16-megapixel RGB, giving extra depth and fisheye for extremely wide panoramic angles. There is also another 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfie and video calls.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, has a USB Type-C port and is powered by a huge battery of 4.050 mAh.
