The first commercial Tango smartphone Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, is available and for the European market. The device was first released in the United States last month, but it seems that Lenovo has decided to make its rather unusual smartphone available in some European countries as well.
At the moment, Phab 2 Pro is available in Lenovo's online stores in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. The new device costs 499 euros.
The smartphone is currently only available in Champagne Gold (Gunmetal Gray is coming soon) and will not be available in other countries except from those mentioned above. So, for all those who are interested in getting the device, you should order the smartphone from any of the Lenovo online stores from the above countries. (links at the end of the post)
In addition to the usual charger and USB cable, Lenovo also added JBL headphones inside the sales package.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is definitely not for everyone. The smartphone has a huge 6,4-inch display that supports Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
The Phab 2 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (Tango edition) octa-core processor timed at 1.8GHz, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, which can be extended to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is equipped with four cameras that work together with Tango and a specially developed software that allows state-of-the-art AR experiences on the smartphone.
In addition, the rear cameras are 16-megapixel RGB, giving extra depth and fisheye for ultra-wide panoramic angles. There's also another 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and calls video.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, has a USB Type-C port and is powered by a huge battery of 4.050 mAh.
