Let's do it Greece: A group of children unites all of Greece! In 2012, a group of friends envisioned uniting the entire country with an ambitious vision for the environment. Over the past 5 years, thousands of volunteers have answered the call, joining forces in an annual appointment with respect and protection of the environment in focus.
This is how the volunteer campaign Let's Do It Greece was born, which this year is scheduled for Sunday, April 2, 2017.
The goal, the thousands of citizens who share the vision of a clean Greece, to coordinate across the country, embellishing 1.500 points within 1 day!
This effort was started by young children from environmental school groups. Young people who dream of uniting all of Greece for a common purpose, highlighting the good face of our country. In the eyes of these young people, Let's do it Greece is an opportunity to unite Greek society by inspiring thousands of citizens and strengthening the culture of volunteering in Greece. 
As we are saying, "Through our common effort, we want to build strong relationships of trust among all of us as active citizens that help each other and the whole society at the same time, and this is multiplier throughout Greece".
For Sunday, April 2, hundreds of organizations throughout Greece have already declared their participation and support. Among them, voluntary groups, cultural, beautifying, environmental, cycling, speleological, diving, sports clubs, civil protection agencies, all major environmental organizations, Regions and Regional Units, Municipalities throughout the country, protected area management agencies, tourist bodies, companies, individuals, museums, universities, schools, the Greek Scouts, the Hellenic Guide, while with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the "School Volunteering Week Let's do it Greece 2017" will be implemented again this year in all the schools of country, culminating on the day of pan-Hellenic action.
The big goal for April 2nd is to join 3.000 organizations nationwide, carrying out voluntary cleaning, beautification and aesthetic upgrading actions in every corner of the country. All of us, on April 2nd, will shout loudly throughout Greece "Let's do it Greece"!
