This is the so-called Knock code ("hit" code) introduced in the way LG Smartphone is used with LG G Pro 2 - G Pro Progressor making its official first appearance at Mobile World Congress 2014- which is an evolution of KnockOn that first appeared in G2.
The tap unlock feature will be coming to all 2014 smartphones via informationsoftware.
