Η LG Electronics expected to present at the international event IFA 2014 in Berlin, the world's first curved screen designed for desktop with computers. Such screens, or rather TVs, we saw quite a few at the CES event last winter. The said… fashion, it seems, will be transferred from the living room to our office.
To become more specific, a similar screen (convex) has already been presented by ASUS. However, this particular model was at a very early stage and did not have very specific features, with 32 inch diagonal screen, 16: 9 aspect ratio and WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.
However, the model that the company is about to present LG, 34UC97, except of the largest diagonal (at 34 inches) offers a wider aspect ratio (21:9) and a higher resolution on its IPS panel, with 3440 x 1440 pixels. Also, its connectivity includes Thunderbolt 2.0 ports and it even has 7 Watt stereo speakers. Price and release date have not been announced yet
