MX Linux 21.2 (Wildflower) OS has just been released. The latest update of the popular distribution continues to be based on Debian 11 and the 5.10 Linux kernel, but the AHS variant of the Xfce edition now comes with Linux kernel 5.18.

“We are pleased to make MX Linux 21.2 available for download. MX 21.2 is the second refresh of the MX 21 release, and brings bug fixes, newer kernels, and app updates from our original MX 21 release.
If you are already using MX 21, No need to reinstall. All packages are available through the regular updates channel.
Highlights include:
Debian 11.4 “Bullseye” as a base, mx-installer has several bug fixes and improvements, mx-tweak has new options to disable Bluetooth adapters and move Xfce/GTK file dialog buttons to the bottom instead of the top of the dialogue.
Fluxbox has a new mxfb-look tool for saving and restoring theme combinations. mx-updater/apt-notifier has the option to use nala as a backend. Added a kernel cleanup tool to mx-cleanup, disk space check for /boot partitions to make sure a disk has enough space to update the kernel before the update starts….”
