Are you using a Linux system and want to create a Windows bootable USB? Because Ventoy often doesn't work with Windows, below we will see how you can create a bootable USB, without any tools.
What we will do in a nutshell is download the ISO and place its contents in different partitions on the USB.
Download ISO
Download Windows 11
Download Windows 10
When the ISO downloads, right-click on it and select mount.
A 16GB USB is more than enough. Open gparted and create two partitions
1. fat32 partition of size 2 GB
2. and exfat partition the remaining space.
Now from the mounted ISO copy all the files to the exfat partition.
Then copy all folders and files from the exfat partition to the fat32 partition except for the sources folder.
Then create an empty sources folder on the fat32 partition and copy only the boot.wim file from the sources folder located on the exfat partition.
and
You now have a Windows bootable USB.
