Linux Mint 19.2 Tina final ISO before the official announcement

Earlier this week, Project Linux Mint CEO Clement Lefebvre Reported that the Mint 19.2 Tina operating system will be officially released this week for all supported flavors, such as: Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce.

However, it seems that the final ISO images of Linux Mint 19.2 have been uploaded to the main distribution repository and are ready for download, as long as you have the download links.

So you can install the operating system on your personal computer if you do not want to wait for the official announcement to be made later this week.

This happens every time before the official release of a new major versions of Linux Mint, as it takes a long time to upload ISOs to all repositories.

This also means that these ISO images will be the same as those of the official release.

The Linux Mint 19.2 Tina distribution is based on the Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (Bionic Beaver) operating system, and features the latest Cinnamon 4.2, MATE 1.21 and Xfce 4.2 desktop environments. It runs on Linux 4.15 kernel of Ubuntu, as it has many updated applications.
