The Linux Mint development team has announced the release of Linux Mint 20.1, a long-term support which will continue to receive updates until 2025.

Linux Mint 20.1 is based on the LTS version of Ubuntu 20.04.1 (series Focal Fossa) and comes with the LTS kernel series Linux 5.4. It comes as an update to the Linux Mint 20 version "Ulyana", which is based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and is supported until 2025, as mentioned above.
