Linux Mint version 22.3 “Zena” has just been released. Like all Linux Mint releases, this is a long-term support (LTS) release and will be supported until 2029.
This update includes updated software, improvements, and many new features that aim to make the operating system “even more comfortable to use.”
Those using other Linux Mint 22 versions can do an in-place upgrade.
Based on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) and running Linux kernel 6.14, Linux Mint 22.3 “Zena” comes with the Cinnamon 6.6, Xfce 4.18, and MATE 1.26 desktop environments.
The Linux Mint team will make an official announcement this week. In the meantime, they have uploaded the ISO images to several official mirrors around the world, so you can download Linux Mint 22.3 directly using the links below.
The Linux Mint 22 series will be supported until 2029.
