MacOS Catalina: Apple unveiled its latest update for MacOS. The company's upcoming operating system will be called Catalina and will be released with many new features.
The new MacOS Catalina certifies the end of iTunes.
The most exciting update to Project Catalyst is a development feature that allows application developers to develop Mac applications based on existing iOS applications.
The new feature will be available to developers via MacOS Catalina from today.
Now that we know for sure that Apple is withdrawing iTunes, the next thing that comes to mind is what will happen if we want to sync our phone.
According to Apple, the synchronization will take place in the background - you will find the details in the sidebar of the Finder.
To compensate for the loss of the application, Apple strengthens the Music, Podcast and TV applications. For example, you will now be able to search for podcasts, even if you do not know the name of the show or episode you are looking for.
Another exciting feature is the voice control. In fact, with the new MacOS Catalina operating system, you will be able to fully control the Mac with your voice, and the feature will be available on both iOS and iPadOS, the company's new iPad operating system.
In addition to all the above, Catalina users will be able to connect iPads to Macbooks and use them as a second screen via Project Sidecar.
Notes and photos have been updated. Find My Friends and Find My iPhone applications have been integrated into a single application. Screen Time, which shows how long you are in front of the screen, also comes to your computer.
A preview Catalina is currently available to members of Apple Development Program, and a public beta will be released later this month.
MacOS Catalina will be available for everyone this fall.
