Magnetic train (maglev) travels at 620 km / h

Transport concepts like hyperloops they show us what our future will be like. The idea of being able to travel between major cities in minutes rather than hours is definitely exciting.

But for now it is just an idea and as it seems very far from reality.

If you need something a little closer to reality, take a look at this new one train () from China.

The prototype presented by researchers at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu , seems to be different from other maglev trains. Instead of using liquid helium superconductors at -269 degrees Celsius, the researchers implemented high-temperature superconductors, which operate at -196 degrees Celsius and are much cheaper to produce and operate.

This train could offer high speed travel to even more people in the country. A commercially viable of the new maglev train is expected to be released within the next six years.
