Makbox is an application that provides users with a set of ready-made tools such as upload files, share files, and so on. This allows them to have their own staff cloud and manage it as they want. The application was developed by Gerasimos Bharabas who is 24 years old.
He is a DIEK graduate. specializing in web developer / designer (mutlimedia / videos games) and has attended Richard Stallman's tutorials in Athens, where he has been asked for tips on the makbox program.
He has developed 12 programs and the most important of these are:
clonenew (web cloning) has been designed for educational purposes.
owncloud_registration (new way of registering users in owncloud without installing module).
remote_database_administrator (remote database management).
safe_operation_cookies (secure cookie creation).
play_online_movies_in_gnu-linux (install Adobe Flash to watch movies on live GNU / Linux systems).
A few words about Makbox
Makbox has been created to provide users with a set of ready-made tools such as upload files, share files, etc. so they can have their own cloud and manage it as they want.
You can easily and quickly share files with your friends and store them in a way that you can access from anywhere any device.
The main advantage of the application is that the files are not stored on a remote server but on your own. Thus, the application provides security with regard to the interception of personal data by third parties.
The cloud is installed on your computer. It has a control panel so you can make changes as an administrator, and yes check other users who are registered with it. This allows you to ensure smooth operation of the program.
The program also features terminal data as well as an application for mobile Android phones.
