Malwarebytes released the 3.0 version a few days ago. The new version according to the company marks a big step in its policy for the release of individual security tools.
So instead of making Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Anti-Exploit, and Anti-Ransomware known to everyone, Malwarebytes has decided to integrate them all into one product. Malwarebytes 3.0 appears at first glance to be one upgrade of Anti-Malware, but there are key differences.
Users who prefer the free applications will be able to have on-demand scanning as before, but will not have access to Anti-Exploit or Anti-Ransomware which is now only granted for a fee.
Let us remind you that before the standalone version of Anti-Exploit was offered for free but also for a fee and the application Anti-Ransomware was only available for free as a beta before the official release of version 3.0.
With the new version we also noticed that:
Malwarebytes distributes version 3.0 for free, but also as a trial and premium version. But remove all their links standalone εφαρμογών Anti-Exploit και Anti-Ransomware από την by clicking here her.
Additionally, if you had installed the software before 3, Malwarebytes 3.0 will uninstall all previous versions of Anti-Malware, Anti-Exploit and Anti-Ransomware during the installation process.
This even happens if you use Malwarebytes 3.0 Free (which does not support Anti-Exploit and Anti-Ransomware).
If the above have taken you out of your clothes, there is a solution. As mentioned, the company removed each download link from standalone Anti-Exploit and Anti-Ransomware applications from its website.
So all you need to do is find a copy of the latest Anti-Exploit installer and install the program again after installing Malwarebytes 3.0 on your computer.
You can find a download link of the latest version at Malwarebytes official forum.
The company plans to offer a "continuous beta" version of Anti-Exploit for free.
