Security company Malwarebytes offers all its hacker users anti- its software virus, 12 months free protection. 
Anyone who uses an illegal Malwarebytes activation key with the next upgrade of the application will automatically get a legal key valid for 12 months.
The company from San Jose, California announced that it will replace the wrenches of the anti-virus software of those using pirates. The so called program "amnesty" will replace all illegal keys, thus giving the company control of the software, in exchange for 12 months of free updates.
Why
Company CEO Marcin Kleczynski in a forum post said the move was partly because in the early days of software distribution, developers were using a very ifsafe key generation algorithm, which made generating pirated keys very easy.
So the company, along with the 12-month offer, develops a stronger system license key generation. The offer is because there is simply no other way way to separate the legitimate users from the illegitimate users.
"If you are a pirate, you will get a one-year license for Malwarebytes," said Kleczynski.
