The Ice Bucket Challenge, as you know is a campaign to raise funds for research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (motor neurone disease) but also for people diagnosed with this disease, but it seems to have other side effects as well.
In fact, this campaign used famous athletes, singers, etc. to simulate the sensation of sudden spinal numbness experienced by patients with the disease, which is similar to being drenched in ice water. The scene of drinking ice water eventually became fashionable, having nothing to do with trying to raise money for research into the disease. So, ordinary citizens are fooled by capturing the scene on video and then uploading it on social medianetwork.
It can all this process that resembles the Ice Bucket Challenge but does not help sufferers from the disease. But he can help police to arrest criminals. Provided that these criminals are not so smart.
In accordance with The Smoking Gun at the end of last week on Friday that a man was arrested after participating in this campaign and then showing a video showing that he was dropping water and ice on his head online. This is 20's Jesean Morris, Ohama, USA, who was arrested for the first time in April 2010. He was then found guilty of assault and use of a firearm when committing the crime. But he was left free on restrictive terms. However, this person did not comply with the rules of his temporary release. In simple terms, he had almost disappeared, without bothering to present himself to the police department regularly, as he ought to have.
And while it was hiding, the man thought it appropriate to do it Ice Bucket Challenge and videotape the whole experience. Shortly afterwards, he posted the video on Facebook. One of his electronic "friends" recognized the place where he was hiding and notified the authorities.
After the wanted criminal was located, the police decided to pay him a visit home.Ο 20χρονος προσπάθησε να διαφύγει τρέχοντας, αλλά οι αστυνομικοί τελικά τον έπιασαν. Οι φήμες λένε πως, προτού τον συλλάβουν, ο Jesean Morris προσπάθησε να τους ξεγελάσει δίνοντάς τους ψεύτικο name and date of birth.
20 is now behind bars in Douglas County, Nebraska, where he will stay for quite a long time.
Interestingly, there seem to be some people who do not share the circumstances under which Jesean Morris was arrested. They claim that the electronic "friend" should not have informed the police about the whereabouts of the 20-year-old who simply wanted to help those suffering from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) by making the Ice Bucket Challenge.
