"Rolling" your photo on Facebook is not the best idea if you are a fugitive. Anthony James Lescowitch, however, could not resist the temptation to mock the police for not being able to arrest him and try to help her as much as he could !!!!.
The 35-year-old was wanted for an assault that took place in June 2013, but managed to evade capture. When he saw that the Freeland Police Department had posted a photo of him on Facebook , and knowing that users there are generally relaxed, he decided to lend a helping hand and share his photo on his profile (!!!!!!).
His photo was released by police Monday morning, asking people for information about Lescowitch's fate. Less than two hours later, the police shared the same photo on Facebook, but this time with the caption "Arrested !! "Sharing our Facebook status for him, he was arrested 45 minutes later."
What exactly happened over the course of two hours is very simple. When officers noticed that the real perpetrator had a Facebook account and was sharing his own photo , they decided to take advantage of his stupidity and get close to him… and what better way to do that than by using a fake Facebook profile of a very attractive woman, they explain to the Times Leader.
Due to the irresistible appearance of the woman, the authorities easily managed to engage in a conversation with the fugitive, who was particularly eager to chat with the lady. Pretending to be interested in him, his fake wife asked to go out for a drink, rather than talking on the internet for half an hour. The suspect initially refused, but then agreed to meet when she persisted at least to smoke a cigarette together.
During the meeting, Lescowitch saw surprise police officers instead of his new girlfriend on Facebook. He was arrested without episodes.
