Philip Müller Manjaro lead developer Project announced the release of Manjaro Linux 17.0 Gellivara, the latest stable version of the distribution based on Arch.
The distribution Manjaro Linux 17.0 Gellivara has officially as default Desktops KDE and Xfce but also in several "flavors" developed by the community (Budgie, Cinnamon, Deepin, GNOME, i3, LXQt).
This version updates the desktop KDE Plasma in the 5.9.3 version:
“The KDE release continues to provide the powerful, mature and rich desktop environment with a unique look and feel, and with the benefits of the latest Manjaro tools. The Plasma 5.9 desktop in conjunction with the latest KDE 16.12 applications is a huge step to play together smoothly which will give the user the experience and feel of past KDE 4 releases.
