The operating system Manjaro Linux updated today at version 2016-10-31. The update has not been officially announced yet.
For those who do not know the operating system, Manjaro is based on Arch Linux and its goal is to make things easier for novice Linux users.
Installing Manjaro is simple and can be done with two different applications with a graphic environment but also traditionally through the terminal.
In general, Manjaro Linux is worth it cautionand leaves many promises for the future. The myth we found working with the distro is that it's not exactly a distro for beginners but rather for enthusiasts platformof Arch who don't have time.
Manjaro Linux automates a lot of processes that Arch has to do manually.
So today the distribution was updated adding new features as well as improvements to the existing ones. The kernel as you will see in the image below was upgraded to version 4.8.5-2 from 4.8.4-1 and with it almost most of the libraries were upgraded (bluez libs, lib32 etc.) and the applications of (like libreoffice) along with some graphics (numix). So those of you using the distribution just run the Software Update or run the following command from your terminal:
sudo pacman -Syyu
