Mars 2020 Perseverance rover how to watch the launch

Another mission of a robotic vehicle to Mars by NASA. The US space agency will launch the Mars 2020 Perseverance rover.

Probably one of the few that have not yet been cancelled.

If you have time or just want to see something new, read how you can watch the event live.

The Mars 2020 Perseverance rover is scheduled to leave Space Launch Complex 41 this morning, very close to Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida. The launch will take place at 2:50 PM, although live coverage will begin at 2:00 PM tonight (Greek time), according to NASA. Perseverance is expected to arrive on Mars in February 2021.

Although the event will end in , you can plan to watch it online via NASA Live, the official live streaming service.

In addition to giving us the opportunity to watch the rover launch live, NASA has also hosted a number of events and activities at media, hashtagged #.   • Watch the launch of the Atlas V rocket that the Perseverance rover will send to Mars. You can watch the launch live on NASA's NASA YouTube channel, starting tonight at 2:00 PM.
