Following Google's Gemini AI model, Meta has launched a new online AI image creation app called “Imagine with Meta”. It allows users to create images with commands.
Like popular tools DALL-E and Midjourney, Imagine with Meta is powered by the Emu image generation model and creates high-resolution images from text messages.
The tool is free for US users and creates up to four images per message. According to Meta, the goal is to offer a more playful creation experience outside of messaging apps, which offered similar AI creation tools.
Also, the new Reimagine feature for Instagram and Messenger will allow friends to edit each other's images in real time.
A visual response will be generated when a person sends a text message to Meta AI's image generator. Others in the group chat can then tap and hold the image to add their own change with a new text message.
Please note that to access the tool you will need to create a new Meta account. Temporary emails like Yopmail work fine.
Also the tool https://imagine.meta.com/ not yet available in Greece.
But with a VPN you can tell it you live in America and it works without a problem.
