Meta has launched Muse Image, its first AI image generation model, which integrates with Instagram and automatically uses users' public photos to create digital copies (likeness) through tags.
Meta launched its first AI image model from Meta Superintelligence Labs on Tuesday, in an effort to compete with other AIs like OpenAI's GPT Images 2.0 and Google's Nano Banana 2 in the AI image generation race. Hurry up and get in on the action.
What does this mean;
As part of this update, public Instagram profiles will now be automatically selected as fodder for creative AI remixes. All someone needs to do is add a tag to a prompt. If your images are public, Meta’s AI will use them to create an image for someone else.
If you don't like this, you will need to manually disable the feature in the "Sharing and reuse" settings to prevent your content from being used, although this setting does not affect images already created.
