Microsoft Bing searching for “Google” distorts the Google UI

Microsoft seems to be using a rather controversial change that falsifies its page .com when you try to find Google and use it .com. This is another "genius" move to keep you away from Google search, which has become synonymous with search engines or finding answers online.

As you know, Microsoft Edge is the default browser in Windows 11 and is configured to use the Bing search engine by default., just like Chrome on Android defaults to Google.

If you have a Windows PC and want to use Google, you can simply tap the Microsoft Edge address bar, search for Google in the Bing-powered address bar, and then open the blue Google link from Bing.

So Microsoft in a sneaky way is trying to reduce the bounce rate or the number of users leaving Bing.

The copies Google

If you open Bing.com and search for Google or Google.com, you will now see a non-Google Search page.

Bing's design is very similar to Google's when you search for Google on Bing. The page has a clean layout, a search bar in the middle and simple images.
Microsoft Bing seems to copy the Google UI

This is sneaky because Microsoft is trying to copy Google's style to make users feel like they're using Google at first glance.

In fact, if you look closely at the second image, you'll see that the company is actually trying to mimic the Google UI. The top Bing search bar is hidden. and if you scroll. You can see the top Bing search bar in the third image that we scrolled.
