Microsoft has just released a new version of Windows 10 for users in the pro fast ringletterof Windows Insider.
Windows 10 build 18290 comes with a welcome visual improvement. The changes it brings include that users can manually sync the clock with a time server, and that Windows 10 build 18290 also introduces a new system tray icon that shows which apps are using the microphone.
The company states: "In Build 18252 we have introduced a new microphone icon which will appear in the notification area and let you know when an application will have access to your microphone. From today, if you hover your mouse over the icon, it will show you which application uses the microphone. Double-clicking on the icon will open the Microphone Privacy Settings ".
Windows Update will also display an icon in the system tray to let you know when a restart is required to finish installing new updates, while Mail & Calendar officially gets support for Microsoft To-Do with version 11001.20106.
Window 10 19H1 is expected to be finalized in March as an 1903 version, in public release in April.
