Microsoft has just released a new version of Windows 10 for users in the fast ring of Windows Insider.
Windows 10 build 18290 comes with a welcome visual enhancement. The changes include that users can manually synchronize the clock with a time server, and that Windows 10 build 18290 also introduces a new system disk icon that shows which applications use the microphone.
The company states: "In Build 18252 we have introduced a new microphone icon which will appear in the notification area and let you know when an application will have access to your microphone. From today, if you hover your mouse over the icon, it will show you which application uses the microphone. Double-clicking on the icon will open the Microphone Privacy Settings ".
Windows Update will also display an icon on the system tray to let you know when a reboot is required to complete the installation of new updates, and Mail & Calendar is officially supported for Microsoft To-Do with version 11001.20106.
Window 10 19H1 is expected to be finalized in March as an 1903 version, in public release in April.
