Microsoft announced today that the security service that uses for the Cloud (Cloud App Security) and is based on the technology resulting from the acquisition of Adallom in 2015, it is now available for anyone who wishes to use it.
"The solution provides a set of possibilities to help design companies enforce a process to ensure the use of the Cloud. "From discovering and exploring capabilities to controlling and protecting," the Cloud App Security team said in a statement.
“It is easy to develop, install and use and provides immediate functions out-of-the-box, as well as rich tutorials to unlock advanced features.”
In general, these tools allow companies to see which cloud services the employees use, and then they can limit this use.
The service can be integrated with firewalls and proxies from various suppliers, including Blue Coat, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, and Sophos.
In terms of cloud services, the new tool can be easily used for Amazon Web Services, Box, dropbox, Google Apps, Office 365, ServiceNow, and Salesforce.
The launch of the technology means that Microsoft is now competing with Skyhigh Networks, Netskope, Elastica, and other cloud security companies.
