Microsoft Designer is a new tool that uses OpenAI's DALL-E 2 to create stunning designs in a flash. Microsoft Designer is currently available to select testers in a private beta version, and is part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot offerings.

Microsoft Designer is believed to be the company's answer to Canva.com, a popular PowerPoint alternative for quick designs.
Microsoft Designer is not like PowerPoint. As its name suggests, it is supposed to create “designs” such as social media posts, banners for your e-commerce platform, other projects such as invitations, signs, logos and more.
You can start with an image of yourself or use Microsoft's AI to create one automatically. The web application is flexible and can create various types of graphics. The best feature? Its search bar uses Open AI's DALL-E, which allows Microsoft Designer to create images or artwork from scratch based on user descriptions.

“It's a new and evolving system, so it can create things you don't expect. If you find a build unexpected or offensive, send us your feedback so we can improve it," Microsoft says.
