More about Microsoft's dirty games

Many say that the new Microsoft is a completely new company under the leadership of the CEO , as it appears to be friendlier and more cooperative with rival companies and platforms that the company did not work with. They also report that the company seems to no longer care about the dirty tricks it used to increase its customer base. (like the case of Scroogled a campaign started by Steve Ballmer).

But according to Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, the new Microsoft isn't all that different from the old Microsoft, as the company still some questionable strategies for her opponents.Microsoft

Benioff revealed one such episode that took place during the Code Conference on Monday, explaining that he had been invited by the president of M John Thompson in a meeting with Microsoft Cloud chief Scott Guthrie to discuss becoming an Azure customer.

The message was: "Why haven't you met Scott Guthrie?" It uses Azure and could guide your business, and maybe we could make Salesforce run on Azure "… and I thought OK, it was clear that someone who was not in our business was running Azure", (emphasis added) ours).

But a few weeks after that, Benioff was informed by the press that Guthrie was promoted as the head of the CRM business, thus being a direct competitor of Salesforce.

"I came to the conclusion that the new Microsoft is actually the old Microsoft. "And these little things, like the one I mentioned, if we put it all together, I don't feel like the new Microsoft is what we were looking for," Benioff said.

Salesforce eventually became Amazon Web's customer , which is a direct competitor of Microsoft Azure, and continues the fight against Microsoft, trying to block the acquisition of LinkedIn, on the grounds that Redmond could limit access to data trafficked by the social service.

Salesforce has already contacted European regulators to block the agreement, but there is still a lot to be done.

Let us remind you that a few days ago, CEO of Kaspersky, filed a lawsuit about how Microsoft works, trying to exterminate any competitor.
