Microsoft: Free upgrades to Windows 10 to subscribers

Microsoft allows users of 7 και 8.που αγοράζουν κάποιο από τα συνδρομητικά πακέτα των Windows, όπως τα Enterprise Ε3 και Ε5 μέσω του προγράμματος Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) την δωρεάν αναβάθμιση σε Windows 10.

"Customers registered at Windows 10 Enterprise E3 and E5 as well as Secure Productive Enterprise E3 and E5 can now upgrade their systems running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 without having to purchase separate upgrade licenses," Microsoft said in a publication of 19 in January.Windows 10

What do the above terms mean?

Windows 10 Enterprise E3 and E5 are two new packages for Windows Enterprise that Microsoft introduced last summer. Their purpose is to a large extent the users of small and medium sized enterprises. The Windows 10 Enterprise EXXUMX package costs 3 dollars per user per year, or 84 dollars per user per month. The E7 package costs 5 the year or 168 dollars per user per month. Both packages are available directly from Microsoft through its multiuser licensing program and through its Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners.

Microsoft is reportedly proposing the new upgrade option from Windows 7 and 8.1 to Windows 10 through these programs for its customers who have purchased a new Windows device and lost the free upgrade to Window 10.

Hypocrisy?

As we had predicted months before the end of the first offer, Microsoft continues to quietly offer the option to get Windows 10 for free if you try to upgrade from Windows 7 and 8 with product that are legal, even after the free upgrade offer that officially ended on July 29, 2016.

"Upgrade licenses to Windows 10 issued through this new offer are perpetual." This means that the will not expire or be revoked if the customer chooses to terminate their Windows cloud subscription,” Microsoft says.

Microsoft seems to be trying to raise the market share of Window 10, which months after their release is still coming behind Windows 7.
