Microsoft Ignite free for everyone this year

This year's Ignite conference will be a two-part online event. One part of Ignite 2020 will take place in September, from 22 to 24. The other is planned for the beginning of 2021.

Both parties will be free, and will only take place digitally at 48-hour events.

From today, you can register for the first part.

It's free for everyone, so you don't even have to register. However, after registering, you can access Microsoft Schedule Builder, communicate with other participants, access the full conference page, and more.

Also, Microsoft is not going to host Ignite Tour events around the world this year because of COVID-19.

We have learned from the global digital events we organized this year that we have the opportunity to unite the entire global community in one place to create a truly global event. For this reason, we are not going to host Microsoft Ignite Tour events in various cities around the world this year. Instead, Microsoft Ignite will bring all participants together globally and provide local community meetings, language detection. Participants will also be able to gain skills with Microsoft Learn as well as certifications.

So, all the Microsoft events will be done digitally this year and it seems that the same will be true for 2021.
