Microsoft and Intel revealed that they are working together to make Cortana more functional. According to the latest news, the personal assistant Microsoft will be able to activate your PC as well.
Intel he revealed that in collaboration with Microsoft for Cortana, they intend to use long distance speech recognition technologies. So users will be able to operate their computers through the digital assistant. 
In other words, you'll be able to shout “Hey, Cortana” at your computer from somewhere elseeyeo and Windows 10 will start.
But if you think about it a little bit more, you will see that this news is causing ambivalence. Are we happy or worried?
Essentially what Microsoft is telling us is that it will have the ability to listen to what is happening inside home us, even in the next room.

Why
OK, let Microsoft take the data, those who choose to enjoy it. Besides, you have all agreed with the terms of use of the product (although I believe the terms should change for that feature). But if Microsoft can not hear what's happening in our homes and someone who has a zero day in his hands?

At the moment we do not have information on how much the digital assistant can hear, the range, whether it can distinguish voices in noisy environments, whether the data will be collected by telemetry, and who will have access… (and do not expect that the Microsoft will list those who will actually have access).

I think that in the coming years, the NSA actions we learned from Snowden will be guilty of what comes to us and we simply accept it as a new technology.
