Microsoft has released new updated ISOs for Windows 10-11

Microsoft today released new updated ISO files for Windows 11 version 22H2. The new ones bring feature updates 2 and Moment 1 to the general public.

The ISOs contain the Patch Tuesday of the month (KB5026372, version 22621.1702) that was released last week.

This version of Patch Tuesday, among other things, fixed a critical one of the Secure Boot bootkit (CVE-2023-24932). Microsoft also later published a guide which explains how one can create secure Windows bootkits.

However, there are many issues in the latest Patch Tuesday (KB5026372). For starters, some users are unable to install the update as they are getting the errors “” and “80070002”. Apart from these, there are problems for those who use VPN. Many are claiming that older issues like the one related to SSD speeds are still not resolved with this update.

You can download the updated ISOs of the Windows 11 22H2 from the official website by Microsoft through the Media Creation Tool. The file should be “Win11_22H2_English_x64v2.iso”.

Apart from Windows 11, Microsoft has also released updated ISOs for Windows 10 as well. You can download it from official webpage through the Media Creation Tool. As with Windows 11, it contains the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5026361) for Windows 10.
