Microsoft has announced yet another affordable smartphone which will have an initial price of 150 dollars. The new Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM to be released on the market from next month.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM seems to be a worthy successor to Lumia 530 but has the Smart Dual SIM feature that lets you create unique profiles for each SIM and stay connected with call forwarding.
The device is currently running Windows Phone 8.1 and will be upgraded with the upcoming release of Windows 10.
It has an 5 inch screen on 720p and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 quad-core 200GHz processor.
It has 1GB RAM and 8GB storage with microSD card slot for expansion. The Lumia 540 features 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and autofocus. At the front there is a camera at 5MP wide angle.
The phone is powered by a battery 2200 mAh which can be removed.
Along with the device you also get 15GB of space on the OneDrive from beforechoice and an additional 15GB if you enable automatic upload to OneDrive.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM will be available in glossy light blue, orange, white and matte black.
