Microsoft acknowledged that it needs to improve the quality of Windows 11 and outlined its plan in a post on Friday by Pavan Davuluri , addressed to Windows Insiders.
The publication says it has taken user opinions into account and "what emerged was the voice of people who care deeply about Windows and want to make it better."
Davuluri said that Microsoft has already started work on improving the operating system and listed a list of changes.

One of the changes is “Integrating Artificial Intelligence where it matters most, with focus,” and it sounds like an admission that Microsoft has made a mistake with Artificial Intelligence in Windows.
“You’ll see us being more conscious about how and where Copilot is integrated across Windows, focusing on experiences that are truly useful and well-crafted,” Davuluri said. “As part of that, we’re reducing unnecessary entry points to Copilot, starting with apps like the Snipping Tool, Photos, Widgets, and Notepad.”
Davuluri also promised that File Explorer will become “faster and more reliable,” offering “a faster startup experience, reduced stuttering, smoother navigation, and more reliable performance for everyday file tasks.” He also promised that “copying and moving large files will be faster and more reliable” with “substantially lower latency for searching, navigation, and the context menu.”
Other items on Microsoft's list of changes address long-standing user complaints about Windows, such as its unstable performance when connecting to Bluetooth devices, slow waking after computers enter sleep mode, and reducing the intrusiveness of widgets.
Davuluri also said that Microsoft is preparing to speed up Windows installations and the option of one restart per month for Windows Update.
