Microsoft Vaccine Management Platform COVID-19

Η Consulting Services developed a management of COVID-19 vaccines and is launching it today, December 11. The new solution is for both government and healthcare customers.

In a blog post about the new platform, Microsoft highlights the role that technology can play in ensuring a safe and equitable distribution of the corona COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccines from various manufacturers are already available in Europe and soon in the US.

Microsoft and partners are actively working with their customers on vaccine management solutions that can be handled from provider registration to patients. They can organize gradual vaccination scheduling, with reports, details and forecasts.

According to the company, Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) has already carried out more than 230 emergency missions for COVID-19 worldwide since the pandemic began in March.

MCS developed the Vaccination Registration and Administration Solution (VRAS). This system, as its name suggests, handles evaluation, registration and scheduling for vaccine distribution. Can track and report immunization progress through secure sharing using standards such as Health Level Seven, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and other APIs. Healthcare providers and pharmacies can track and report the effectiveness of specific batches of vaccines with the same .

Several Microsoft partners use Microsoft cloud services to provide additional support for vaccine management with interoperability and integration with existing registration systems (predictive analytics and secure communications).
