Microsoft has just confirmed at the 2015 Worldwide Partner Conference held in Orlando that the new Lumia flagship Windows 10 will make their debut later on 2015.
Terry Myerson, head of the Windows department, said during his speech at the WPC that "the new Lumia is designed for Windows 10" and that it will be released soon. Unfortunately, he did not give more details.
Terry Myerson's statement is living proof that Microsoft will still be making mobile phones, despite all the rumors that have been floating around the internet for the past two weeks, when the company announced job cuts in its telephony division.
According to rumors, two of the Lumia premiums that will be released soon will be 940 and 940 XL.
The Lumia 940 is very likely to come with one screen 1920x1080px 5.2-ιντσών, εάν οι προδιαγραφές που διέρρευσαν είναι ακριβείς, με 3 GB RAM και επεξεργαστή Snapdragon 808. THE storage του χώρος θα φτάνει τα 32 GB και θα φέρει μια camera a 20-megapixel PureView on the back and a 5-megapixel on the front.
Leaks also reported that the Lumia 940 could be made of polycarbonate (which could be more expensive than the iPhone 6) and have an iris scanner.
The Lumia 940 XL now, could be Redmond's new phablet, with an 2560x1440px 5,7 inch screen, and a Snapdragon 810 processor. It will have 3GB RAM, 32 GB storage space and will support SD cards. It will be the same as Lumia 940.
Microsoft has not yet confirmed yet all of this.
