Microsoft adds Copilot feature to Edge

Microsoft added today Copilot in Edge, an experimental feature that turns the browser into an AI-powered navigation app. The new feature will be available for free for a limited time on Windows and Mac and places artificial intelligence at the center of web browsing through a single interface that combines chat, search, and navigation.

The feature allows Copilot to view content across all open browser tabs, handle voice commands, and assist with tasks like comparing web pages.

Future capabilities will include reservations and request management via natural language commands.

Microsoft hasn't said when the free trial ends, though the feature will likely require a Copilot Pro subscription at some point.
