Although all eyes are now on Windows 10, their debut is expected to happen next week, Microsoft is still very committed to its hardware, so yesterday the company introduced a new ad for its Surface tablet 3.
The promotional video targets the upcoming school season starting in September, bringing out some of the best features of the device for students, including the OneNote digital pen, and more that could help and make learning and teaching easier.
Surface 3 runs Windows 8.1, but like all the other devices powered by this version of the operating system, it qualifies for a free upgrade to Windows 10 when the new OS is available.
Microsoft is also planning to distribute Surface 3 with Windows 10 preinstalled, but it still does not have a timetable for this.
It has, however, says that on July 29, you can get Surface 3 from Microsoft Store with preinstalled Windows 10 by qualified staff completely free of charge.
