Microsoft took off Cortana's Android app

A couple of weeks ago, Microsoft released Cortana for iOS and Android, creating its own alternative to Siri and Now

Cortana telemetry

But in the latest update released today, it has been removed from the the most important feature for Android: The detection “Hey Cortana".

In the previous version, the user could utter the phrase "Hey Cortana" to wake up the utility, essentially acting as a substitute for the "OK Google" feature for most Android phones (there is no corresponding keyword voice command in iOS, as well as is against Apple's regulations).

Unfortunately, some users had experienced problems during the of Cortana, including disς toy υ σε όλες τις εφαρμογές, με αποτέλεσμα η εταιρεία να το αφαιρέσετε απλά από την αγορά των in its most recent version available in the Play Store.

As it seems so far, Microsoft has chosen to delete the part of the application that had a problem but without apologizing. The issue will definitely continue…
