Microsoft fixes 8 security gaps with Tuesday's updates

Microsoft has released new patches to fix it in her software, for this month.
The update release includes eight new patches, and the most critical of them was to the Windows Telnet service. The flaw could allow an attacker to make malicious changes to a .Microsoft Security

The other patched bugs were described by the company as "significant", and could allow an attacker to increase user privileges, bypass embedded security features, and launch denial-of-service attacks.

Η Microsoft also released a patch for the vulnerability Google disclosed last week, which caused (once again) friction between companies.

In a major post, Microsoft's Chris Betz argued that the security landscape is becoming "increasingly complex," and that companies should "work together" rather than have the details of a security vulnerability before it can be fixed.

Google said it reported the error since October, and revealed it after a waiting period of 90 days.

Microsport will release the next security updates and fixes on February 10.
