The world-renowned physicist will deliver the keynote address on the first day of the event, sharing his thoughts on artificial intelligence and how it may affect the future of the human species.
In addition to Stephen Hawking's speech, Microsoft will also host the first developer sessions for its mixed reality devices HoloLens.
Future Decoded is Microsoft's largest event in the UK and focuses on exploring how the digital revolution shapes the current technology landscape. The conference will take place in London from 1-2 November.
