The Microsoft Store has tons of games, but no preview option. To play a game, you must first install it. But now, you can play Instant Games on Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store app without having to install them.
What exactly are “Instant Games”?
In short, they are games that do not require installation. You will find them in the Collection section of the Store. Microsoft calls them “Instant Games”, but there is no such category in the Microsoft Store. But the Collection section shows all the games that support this feature.
All Instant Games have an orange logo, making them easy to spot.
Microsoft partnered with many game developers to bring this idea to life. Currently, you will find 69 games that you can play without installing.
Microsoft plans to expand this collection in the future. Providing a hands-on preview of what games have to offer will help users make more informed decisions.
