Microsoft no longer makes its own phones, but that does not mean that it does not have third-party devices in its Microsoft Store. The latest model that came as an addition to Microsoft Store is the Samsung Galaxy S9, which users can obtain from Microsoft from March 16.
The Galaxy S9 is available through Microsoft's online store for pre-orders, as well as from some brick-and-mortar Microsoft Stores in the UK.
A Microsoft representative told Trusted Reviews on March 9 that there is a "Microsoft version" for the Galaxy S9 that will be available in the US.
Η Trusted Reviews ανέφερε ότι οι συσκευές Microsoft Edition θα περιέχουν το Cortana, το Excel, το Skype, το OneNote, το Power point, Word and Microsoft Launcher, along with Android 8.0 Oreo.
At the moment, however, there does not seem to be any mention of the Galaxy S9 Microsoft Edition in the pages of the Microsoft Store.
This is not the first time we have heard of a "custom" Microsoft Edition of the Samsung Galaxy. Last year, Microsoft officials announced that they would make Galaxy 8 devices available as "Microsoft Edition" models, but later, Samsung announced that there was no such device, although the company acknowledged that there were Galaxy phones available with "unique Microsoft experience".
On the other hand, Microsoft is said to he says:
"The Samsung Galaxy S9 available in the Microsoft Store is the same phone that you can buy elsewhere. Microsoft applications such as Office, OneDrive, Cortana, and Outlook are not pre-installed, but when you purchase from a Microsoft store, our experts can customize the device with Microsoft applications for productivity so that every customer to be able to use them ”.
So no one really knows what's going on as they exist two αντιφατικές δηλώσεις από εκπροσώπους της Microsoft.
It should also be noted that Microsoft and Samsung are not best friends. The two companies recently settled a long-standing dispute over Android patents that has existed since 2015.
