Yes Microsoft Teams and for Linux: Microsoft released the Teams application a group discussion program for the Linux platform as a preview yesterday of 10 December.
No it's not April Fools, the Microsoft Teams app for Linux systems is already available for download starting today in .deb and .rpm formats (Link at the end of the post). Its executives companys stated that all the basic possibilities of the application will be available for them as well users of Linux.
A Microsoft blog post states that "Microsoft Teams is the first Office application to run on Linux desktops."
Does Microsoft suggest that we can also see OneDrive or some other Office applications on Linux?
No one knows, as there is still no official placement. It would be interesting, though, as Microsoft's popular Office would have to compete for free LibreOffice.
Microsoft already offers the Teams application on computers with Windows, Mac, mobile devices with iOS and Android and also on the Web through the browser that usesth. It's the competitor to the Sack app that already has one client for Linux.
