Η Microsoft announced that after the first 24 hours of the availability of the new operating system, Windows 10 has now been installed on more than 14 million devices. 
Η company still distributes it operating system and if you haven't received any notification you should be a little patient as it says it may take a few weeks before everyone who is interested gets the new Windows 10.
While Microsoft has not reported exact figures, we know that there were 5 million Windows Insiders, which means that about 9 million consumers installed the new operating system for the first time on their computer.
Recall that Microsoft had publicly stated that it aims to install Windows 10 in 1 billion computers three years after their release, but it seems to be a long way from that. However, the company seems to be quite satisfied with the rate of installation.
With a few maths, 14.000.000 within 24 hours is equivalent to 583.333 installations per hour, 9722 facilities per minute and 162 facilities per second. Of course, this rhythm will not last forever.
